Beyond the classical decorative finishes I have been discovering new finishes like the japanese paper Whasi
or revived forgotten techniques like the Sgrafitto or the Marquetry inlay

I have also a special attention to traditional paint recipes:
Distemper, one of the oldest paint recipe, combining chalk powder, pigment and a water base binder
Lime wash and Lime paint, a lime base coating producing a delicate aged finish
Milk paint, a traditional finish made from milk mixed with pigments, with a chalky appearance
Marmorino, a thick paste coating made from lime and marble grits
Sgrafitto, from the italian "sgraffia", to scratch) the technique consist in two coats of colored Lime paste,
the second coat being incised to reveal the color of the first coat

We offer a large range of finish, from creamy, mat, to chalky or shiny to meet your design vision,
in almost any color you would wish.
Regarding colors, Paulin offers color consulting, to develop a coherent palette through a complete presentation with various samples.
The realization is done by a team of professional painters specially trained in those ancients techniques.
